Qatar Building Company was founded in 1971 as a general civil engineering and building contractor. It has since established itself as a national market leader and has, over the years, incorporated material production and sales divisions into its structure to ensure self-reliance and a guarantee of quality. It takes a serious interest in promoting safety and protection of the environment, and its broad client base (from government agencies, international contractors and gas majors to private developers) illustrates the confidence the company generates. The Company owners have an experienced management team of people whose qualifications cover both commercial and engineering disciplines. Together the team brings a wealth of accumulated industry experience over decades to the Company.

Qatar Building Company is listed Grade ‘A’ in all disciplines of the Government Central Tenders Committee, and is therefore qualified to undertake projects at all levels of cost and complexity.
